Aloha Owners and Residents,

Please be advised that remediation work in the gulch that runs between Buildings U, T, V and W will start on Monday 08.14.23.
Details of which are below:
  • Boulders/rocks in the gulch close to the aqueduct on the mountainside of the bridge and between Buildings U and V will be dry stacked to the side of the existing rock wall in the area where there are already dry stacked boulders/rocks
  • Certain high spots on the ocean side of the bridge will be graded and reduced as much as possible where deemed necessary
  • The area at the end of the gulch where it meets the golf course close to the bougainvillea hedge that runs parallel to the course will be filled in, graded as much as possible and sod will be planted
  • There will be small excavators on the property to take care of the dry stacking and reduction of high spots. They will gain access by driving over the curb close to parking stalls 199 and 203 and driving down the pathway between Buildings V and W towards the bridge. They will then either turn left and drive down on the north side of Building W or right in front of the lanai side of building V, to access the areas that work is being carried out in
  • Small trucks will bring in fill dirt and topsoil by driving over the curb directly in front of the Building W car wash station and will drive on the grassy area between Buildings W & X, as well as the lanai side and north side of Building W to dump the soil in the areas where this is required
  • Please note that the Building W car wash station will not be in service from Sunday 08.13.23 onwards and we ask that you please use the Building B car wash station until this project is completed
  • We also ask that the parking stalls from 199 to 203 be cleared before 8am on Monday 08.14
  • There is going to be damage to the landscaped areas that are accessed by the excavators and trucks. This will be taken care of by our landscaping team in the coming weeks once the remediation work has been completed by the contractor
  • There will also be dust and dirt in the car park areas in front of Building V and in the area of the Building W car wash station
  • There have been numerous meetings held with the contractor and we have done our utmost to plan for this project however there may be unforeseen issues that arise as the work is being carried out
  • Your patience and understanding will therefore be greatly appreciated while this work takes place
  • Lastly, please be reminded that you may not provide instructions to contractors or halt their work, therefore please direct any concerns or questions to me
